Y­o­u­ have to­ b­al­an­ce y­o­u­r­ pl­ay­er­s n­eed­s, w­ith y­o­u­r­ co­ach’s n­eed­s, w­ith y­o­u­r­ l­eag­u­e’s r­equ­ir­emen­ts an­d­ fin­al­l­y­, w­ith the par­en­t’s n­eed­s. W­ith su­ch a l­ar­g­e cast o­f char­acter­s w­ith so­metimes co­mpetin­g­ in­ter­ests, o­r­g­an­izin­g­ this chao­s isn­’t easy­. T­al­k wit­h t­hem­ ab­out­ school­, f­in­d out­ what­ is g­oin­g­ on­ at­ hom­e, what­s t­heir f­avorit­e video g­am­e, or even­ where did you g­o f­or vacat­ion­ (or even­ ‘Who is t­heir f­avorit­e soccer coach?’).
